Delete Account & Data

⚠️ Warning: This action is permanent.
Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data including your credit balance, AI-generated transcripts, word analysis results, study logs, and subscription history. This cannot be undone.

What will be deleted

Upon a confirmed account deletion request, the following personal data will be permanently removed from our servers:

All AI-generated transcripts, subtitles, and word analysis results
Your credit balance and subscription records
Team membership data
Your display name and any profile information

Stored on your device only (not on our servers):
Audio files recorded during shadowing practice and study logs are stored locally on your device. They are not affected by account deletion. You can delete them directly from your device at any time.

How to Request Deletion

Step 1

Send a deletion request email

Send an email to us from the address associated with your account. Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line.

Step 2

We confirm your identity

We will verify that the request matches a registered account and reply within 3 business days.

Step 3

Deletion completed within 30 days

All personal data associated with your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your confirmed request.

Data We May Retain After Deletion

Even after your content and personal data are deleted, we may retain a minimal record (your registered email address and account identifier) for the following legitimate purposes:

Fraud & abuse prevention — to identify accounts involved in repeated refund abuse or policy violations
Financial & legal compliance — purchase and refund transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable tax and accounting regulations
Security — to prevent re-registration by accounts that were suspended for violations

Retained identifiers are stored securely, used solely for the purposes above, and are never shared with third parties for marketing or advertising.
